Everything you need to know about building the life you were created to live

DARE TO DREAM ... then live your dreams out loud

Joanna had a dream and even under the gloomiest of circumstances, giving up was not an option. Daring to dream is the 1st step towards turning your dreams into reality.

Determination, Self-confidence and Unwavering faith Changes Everything

Joanna was a normal London girl with a normal life, until her mother was diagnosed with an acute terminal disease. Suddenly she was faced with a life full of challenges, turmoil, and a long-protracted monster of giant medical expenses. Little did she know that this was just the beginning of the troublesome life that loomed ahead.

Occupied with the responsibility of taking care of her ailing mother, she completed her college degree and started working. One day on her way from Manchester to London, she was reminded of her childhood hobby of creating stories and formed an idea to write a children’s book. This idea would change her life in ways she could not imagine.

She moved to Portugal after the heart-wrenching loss of her mother. 2 years later, she got married and had her first child. Unfortunately, her marriage did not work out and she found herself with no money raising a child on her own. This gloomy situation plunged her into a deep depression, even contemplating suicide. For years she lived on welfare to feed her daughter and felt defeated.

She completed writing her storybook, and since she could not afford to make photocopies, had to retype the manuscript over and over for each submission, only to be rejected, by not one but 12 publishers in the UK.

Even though Joanna was living in poverty, depression, and surviving rejection; one thing she did have, was her faith, patience, and perseverance.

She never gave up and eventually Bloomsbury Publishing agreed to print 1000 copies of her book about an orphan boy who attended magic school.

The book was published under her name:

J. K Rowling

It was her determination & self-belief, her unwavering faith & conviction as a writer that helped her achieve unparalleled success, making her one of the most accomplished, most admired, and the only writer in history to become a billionaire through her writing.

We Carry all The Power We Need inside

There are thousands of women around us who have achieved immeasurable success, after being deprived, dejected, crestfallen, and having faced adversity, crises, and failure. It is only a testament to how resilient and strong women are.

You must never lose your self-confidence and belief in your self-worth.

You are what you believe.

Women need to be reminded that if they don’t believe in themselves, if they don’t value their abilities and if they fail to see themselves as a success, no one else will.

According to thorough scientific research a significant gender and age difference in self-esteem exists and surprisingly it is not limited to a specific country or culture. Universally, men have been found to possess higher levels of self-esteem than women and all genders show age-graded increases from late adolescence to middle adulthood. Since the self-esteem of women is lower than men at any given stage, they are at a disadvantage because confidence typically leads to success.

Unfortunately, school and education systems around the world, fail at teaching the tools necessary to help build self-esteem. It’s usually learned as a practical life lesson after struggling with diverse situations such as achieving career goals, facing relationship problems, dealing with financial crises and so on.

Every woman deserves a chance. Every woman needs self-confidence and can benefit from developing high levels of self-esteem, as it impacts every aspect of life, be it a career, relationships, parenting, emotional health, and overall well-being.

We have the power to imagine better. (J.K Rowling)

Shun The Negativity

Knowing what you want is half the battle won. Finding your way to success without the negativity of others buckling you down is the next step. Even though it’s easier said than done, you need to develop a mantra and stick to it. Never let the negativity of others become a hurdle to your success.

Don't Hesitate To Ask For Help

People need support at every step and even though it may sound clichéd, asking for help doesn’t make you look weak. On the contrary, it’s a sign of strength when you know your shortcomings and are ready to accept them.

Remind Yourself of (Who's) You Are Everyday

Sometimes, you may get overambitious and tempted to compromise your values or beliefs. At such times, take a step back and remind yourself of who you are and where you are going. Remember, life is not a race, it’s a marathon and each lap is needed to prepare you for the next. Work hard, have faith and you will get there without having to compromise on those things that are important to you.
